Tammy S. Hooper, NBCT

I graduated from Central in 1983. I obtained a BS in both physics and mathematics. I  received my MS in Physics in 1990. It was always my dream to come back and teach physics one day at my alma matter. I am absolutely passionate about physics and teaching.  I am known for doing just about anything to get  students excited about physics, from having students dress as pirates to learn about vectors  to  ‘channeling’ the ghost of Galileo.  I am Nationally Board Certified in physics & currently working on my doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at EKU, with an emphasis in physics education research. So check out our youtube videos to learn more about the crazy phun projects we do.
